San Francisco: Counting Down The Last Hours

So we went on another adventure. Back to Ashbury to shop...however the things I bought I cant show you because they were lost, or pick-pocketed...or something... I'm STILL fucking mad!!! They're was a corset and a sun dress in there...
Anyways so we found somewhere to party in San Francisco! Industrial party called MEAT at a joint called the DNA Lounge. (here's my outfit). It was pretty damn tight! Khalifa and I danced on the chain platform for awhile. Meet some cool people before going outside to meet more cool people. Starting with Daniel of Pan Demon.

I hate that I didn't get a picture of Meat Hook, aka Lance and Jackel. Both them were cool ass people as well.
Lance said some really important things that I needed to hear. He talked about just taking a chance and working your way up and that friend are the most important thing he had.
My friends and I have nothing to lose, especially Kaitlin, Erv and I. We know our futures are where we are.

San Francisco: Art of Ashbury

All I can say is, O_o... I've only seen art like this in ONE place back in Memphis, and it's by the same person. Up close you can see all the hard work. The colors are just amazing! I really want to incorporate something about these in my work.
I loved Ashbury the most because of the people. The underground people there, artist, hippies, poets, took care of each other, knew each other. Not sure what it would be like to live there, but I think I'd be cool with moving in that neighborhood.

San Francisco: Final Days (Legion of Honor)

Legion of Honor in San Francisco is based off of the one in Paris and dates back to the 1920's. The have art dating all the way back to the Byzantine period. I was super excited about the sculptures they had. Marble, bronze, furniture, chandlers!!! This place is BEAUTIFUL!!!

San Francisco: Day Two (FASHION)

This is our adventure that we took away from everyone today. We planned a day of shopping. Starting in the downtown fashion district and moving to Japan town and then over to Fillmore street (where we saw a car crash...). I went to Baby, The Stars Shine Bright and Black Peace Now and almost had a heart attack!!! I wanted everything! The person working was highly cute and super nice (pic 4)! and on our way back we ran into a punky quirky artist named Anja Flower(pic 2).

We walked SOOO far today, especially on Fillmore. We were excited to go to the Goodwill, which seems silly, but in Memphis, since the people dont have style there's normally nothing ever to buy. And on the way out came in a classy dressed young man (pic 1). We even went to a great consignment shop where they donate 5 cents when you dont use plastic bags.

San Francisco: Day Two

The Scooter series



I did two small series projects. One of Khalifa taking pictures and one of scooters around San Fran. These next ones are just beautiful ass San Fran. This one was a view of Alcatraz on top of the San Fransisco Art Institute. That school was beautiful and SO inspiring. I want to move here and transfer SO SO SO bad. I really feel as if i owe it to myself...

San Francisco: Day One

2wo day starts with Khalifa and I jumping out of bed to get ready. We forgot to move the clock forward. But the group took the trolley and then walked to the MoMA San Francisco. There we followed a cool looking guy for Khalifa's photography project. We went to eat and played at this monument by Keith Harring.
FI was really excited to see this statue by Jeff Koons. We learned about this in Art History. Which made seeing this cooler (because I don't like this piece).

Fashionista: Mariana Garcia

These chicks outfit were AWESOME! After I left Arkansas I can't find fashionable people. Memphis doesn't know rats ASS about fashion sadly!!! Ricky (the cool ass local) took us over to a great ass Chinese restaurant. Then chilled with us for the night. Hanging out was just the shit today!!!
