So im gonna start an accessories line.
im making a bunch of bows and playing around with the little fabric and materials i have so far.


my fav thing i've made is this bow necklace!!! LOVE
im making a zipper edgy/lola collar and a big red riding hood bow soon.

im trying to be as inventive as i can. seeing how everyone already has an etsy account. i want to sell stuff that stands out, you know.
i have one but i have to get some stuff together first. i'll be selling vintage clothing on there as well.

Oh and these old ass tripp nyc pants from 9th grade...im making into a skirt more that likely (kind of like something you'd see in KERA magazine. i cut then already and i kinda like them as shorts....hmm

life update
i'm still broke. I may get this job at Rodgers Jewelry, but i have to get cleared through their human resources department.
But if i do i'll FINALLY have a job, and a upscale one at that ^_^

I'm helping a friend throw a fashion show in September. It's also a fundraiser for single mothers.
We have been stupid busy. This business is hard -_- but it will be rewarding @ the end. i'm learning a lot.
***my goal in life is to keep a strong head about what i wanna be in life, no matter WHAT is going on. so what i'm broke, so what i have no car, so what i'm young.

Also my same friend got me hooked up with a gallery/lounge manager. My art will be presented friday downtown Little Rock!

Oh and i vowed to become more girly and fab....(i'm looking for a new stylish word beside glam fab and fierce....)
its been great. i packed up the baggy jeans and a lot of tshirts. this all may seem silly to someone else, but means a lot to me.
RuPaul said something along the lines of 'you dont have to sacrifice your beauty to make other people feel good about themselves.' and he is SOOO right. i've always done that, but NO more!

Life Update...

OK, SOOO...Zodiac Party: Cancer Series (Downtown Little Rock: Rev Room)...I'm a Cancer, so I'm getting in this BITCH!
The party was SOO dope. ANGEL ALANIS & special dub guest RUMBLE JUNKIE
Plus hot Go Go's! I got a chance to get on stage for awhile with one girl!

Next door was a performance by a group called the Flaming Death Fairies. lol

I haven't been inspired to dress cool, or fun. I need money. My life is real: broke, got bills, family needs money, and I'm saving to go to a better art school.

My darling friend Jasmine got me a job with a campaigning program for the new Senator of Arkansas. 10$ p/hr...yeah great right. We get paid @ the end of the day.

weeeelllll not SO fast! the job is 1st come 1st. Arkansas is HOT if you don't know and we're outside @ 10:30am, 80 degrees already...
The job is outside ALL DAY!!! 90+ degrees by then...and we leave by 7pm...sigh.
i make $190 in 3 days. I'm happy. However I'm forking over money already to bills... T_T
Anyways i have enough to put away in my "GET THE HELL OUT THE SOUTH!" savings. and to replace my FAVORITE flats that I've had for 3years lol.

Personal Artwork...

After having an epiphany as an artist a while back, I went on my Facebook an deleted all the personal work I had. Compared to now and what I feel I can do as an artist that shit was NOTHING.

Anyways, I was working on a banner for the blog page and I figure I let you know who did it ^_^.
I love this a lot. The style was influenced by SVA graduate Alex Pardee. (I'm interested in going to that school now!)

I'll be falling through with this picture and making it a series. So look for more.

Fuck Fashion Renewal

I have a comment somewhere on here from a viewer about the old title on my blog VS. the things I post. He or she called me a hypocrite, cool with me, but they should have spent that time writing a letter to the White House.

I don’t have plans on taking it down the comment at all: Freedom of Speech. I can handle criticism (I go to art school).

I only understand Jane/John Doe's statement to a certain extent. "Fuck Fashion" is sarcasm and this IS a look-book. It’s a collection of things I find to be artistic, over the top, interesting, or even useless in fashion. The things I post may sometimes are "in style" or trendy, but coming from my background of personal style, most of these blogs only know what they see in magazines and runways. I've already seen most of this on the streets or on street fashion websites years ago. The fashion industry would be NOTHING without the creative street fashionistas/os.

Anyways, I'm changing my blog a little. I want to show my progression as an artist and aspiring style/art icon.

I want you to know now, I post things I can't afford on here. I have no money, family has always struggled. I learned to be stylish by HAVING to make do. Goodwill's, hand-me-downs, had to find a way to mimic the things I was inspired by when I was younger, including Japanese bands, and high fashion designers.

I'm not complaining either. I'm just showing the "other" crowd that not all these blog writers are actually all rich, daddy's girls. Some of us really are struggling but still giving it all we got.

As you all continue to follow this check out new colleges I look at, new art styles and personal styles I'm trying. My hopes is that you'll start to hear bout me in due time.

Back In Action

I took a break from everything the last four months. I left my college for a chance for what I thought was a growth period. Even though I did change my frame of mind, and priorities, I was so depressed. Art is my life. Fashion is my escape door. Music is my monarchy.
